Clean Fresh Air, made by Environmental Air Solutions, is 100% natural using colourant (evaporative gel only) natural emulsifier, filtered water and tea tree oil.
Environmental Air Solutions has been approved for using the highest grade of Tea Tree Oil available in Australia and has met criteria allowing the use of their logo labeling.
The colourant used is Hopper natural colours which are ‘colouring foodstuffs’ concentrates made from fruits and vegetables such as elderberries, pumpkins, carrots and red cabbage. Because they are a colours extracted nature they are classified as food ingredients not ‘additives’. Additives are always represented by a number or an E-number. Hopper natural colours are derived using a water extraction process. Solvents or chemicals are not used in the manufacturing process and they do not contain any artificial functional additives.
The reason for introducing a natural colour to the gel is for aesthetic reasons purely. The colour green is known to represent ‘health and well-being’ and was introduced to enhance the product; naturally.
The emulsifier within the product comes from the blending technique and specifically the unique blade that has been created. It is a very technical process involving precise timing and temperature.
The composition of tea tree oil which is the active ingredient in Clean Fresh Air, made by Environmental Air Solutions, is defined by international standard ISO 4730 (2004) and the identical Australian standard AS 2782-2009 (“Oil of Melaleuca, Terpinen-4-ol type”) which specifies levels of 15 of the more than 100 components in pure Australian tea tree oil. Every batch of oil purchased is accompanied by an independently tested certificate of analysis demonstrating conformance of these standards. Therefore, complying with AS2782-2009 and international standard ISO 4730 (2204).
